I honestly did not know what you were talking about until I saw the replies. I guess I am used to seeing the triple digits in my dash. I live in South Texas

102 does not phase me any longer.
I'll post the pic later, but I was at Lake Mohave in AZ last weekend, and the external temp display in my F-250 read 115. That was after driving for a while; when I first started it up, it read 124. Funny sidenote - it turns out iphones have a temperature operating range, and whaever the temp inside of a truck in 115 heat is happens to be outside that range. Same story for Sony laptops. The iphone recovered, the laptop did not. Lesson? Leave the electronics in the hotel room; not the car. Oh yeah - the sealed coolant system on the F-250 turbodiesel also boiled over on the drive home (does not smell good), and the turbo started to stick. Thank you warranty. |

Wow, we have maybe had 10 days hit low 90's in CO this summer, not even close to 100, its been our coolest/rainiest/hail-iest summer since I have lived here (16 years). Cant beleive its that hot up that far. I was hearing 100 in Seattle and such. Its crazy, we usually hit 100 6-8 times and get damn close to it 60 times lol. Crazy man. Mine hasnt read more then 94 here in CO all summer and hottest I saw on my road trip to Cali was 106 in Mesquite.

i find it really funny how when it is hot people complain about the heat and long for the cold, and then when the cold has hit, they yearn for the heat!
seriously, you did not want to be in seattle at the very end of july, i measured 115F which is insane for here, considering that 90% of the houses dont have AC, even in Medina, the most upscale neighborhood in the area where i live, and i fall victim to that majority.
