2009 Formula 1 Ing Turkish Grand Prix
Massa won this race 3 consecutive times, but I doubt he will win this year unless something insane happens (rubens takes out Jenson, redbull crash into kimi, and left Filepe baby running in the front).
Be advised for North America viewers, the coming four GP races will be DELAY BOARDCAST on FOX. Speed channel will only provide live Friday Practice Session 2 and Qualifying. Race Timetable (Local Time) Fri 05 June 2009 Friday Practice 1 10:00 - 11:30 Friday Practice 2 14:00 - 15:30 Sat 06 June 2009 Saturday Practice 11:00 - 12:00 Qualifying 14:00 Sun 07 June 2009 Race 15:00 Race Timetable (Pacific Time) Fri 05 June 2009 Friday Practice 1 00:00 - 01:30 Friday Practice 2 04:00 - 05:30 Sat 06 June 2009 Saturday Practice 01:00 - 02:00 Qualifying 04:00 Sun 07 June 2009 Race 05:00 (Race Program on FOX at 12:00 noon) Race Timetable (Eastern Time) Fri 05 June 2009 Friday Practice 1 03:00 - 04:30 Friday Practice 2 07:00 - 08:30 Sat 06 June 2009 Saturday Practice 04:00 - 06:00 Qualifying 07:00 Sun 07 June 2009 Race 08:00 (Race Program on FOX, check local listing)

Great, so we get to be talked down to for the next four races, and we don't get live timing during the race. Argh... having these races be televised for a "general" audience sucks. The dumbing down of the information just aggravates me to no end. I can just hear Matchett now, "And look Bob, there on the edges of the car you can see what I am talking about, those are tires. Now behind the driver is a thing called an engine, can you say that with me...e n g i n e..." Oh well, at least its a great track.

but the only good thing is.....if i happen to be travelling that weekend....e.g. vegas, San Fran.....i could just flip on FOX and watch the race....coz 99% of the hotels won't have SPEED.....
but now i always download the race from BBC afterwards...

you can probably pick up the race live off the net from streaming turkish channels (there are a few that stream on the net and are free)

The BMW Sauber team has confirmed it will finally introduce a double-decker diffuser at Turkish GP.
BMW motorsport boss Mario Theissen admitted the team did not expect such a poor start to the season after scoring its first win last year. He insisted, however, that the team can cope with the situation and that it will continue to push to get out of it.

It's so annoying to watch the races on FOX! Even my wife was like, "why are they talking like we're F1 idots?" This year I think I'll download the BBC broadcast...

I have the same problem with the local broadcast. I had no problem watching ITV with 80 cm satellite dish. ITV lost the broadcasting rights to the BBC and now I need much larger dish (180 cm).

I wholeheartedly agree. It would be nice if they included commentator free audio on the SAP feed.

Forgive the americans...they used to watch no-technology NASCAR....it takes a lot to teach them about technology advanced F1....shit....i can't imagine trying to explain to them different design of KERS....especially the magnetic flywheel ones from Williams.....americans would just thought...why not put a Prius on the track...its just a Hybrid....
