Drunk drivers = scum
This POS was weaving so badly through traffic that he nearly sideswiped 3 cars and came within an inch or two of rear ending someone else. Then he sat at a green light for almost a minute (fell asleep?) and took off weaving so badly that he went over the curb and half onto the sidewalk twice.
I called LAPD and gave them a description of the car and the driver, I hope they beat that ass. This was on Highland Ave. all the way from Wilshire to north of Melrose. ![]() |

I hate that shit...I saw this guy once complete jump a curb and became air born. He slide within a few feet of running into a Pizza Hut. I seriously would of gotten hit by him if I didn't decided to go inside the store next door.

I dunno where i read it, but I remember somebody else called the popo on a drunk driver and he said they never sent anybody. I cant remember if they told him that they wouldnt do anything, or if he followed the drunk driver and he never saw a cop or something.
It's pathetic. Good for you for calling the cops though, hopefully they did decide to act on it.

Hahaha, I don't think they would drive like that, or let it attain that state of repair (although it could add to the whole undercover bit). And correct me if im wrong, but i believe they still have special license plates.

The driver of that car was definitely not a cop unless he was undercover as handyman - the driver was wearing a blue shirt and baseball cap like a mechanic or repairman wears.
The dispatcher said he was going to put out an APB on the car as well as run the plates - he did sound pretty concerned when I told him the car had gone up onto the sidewalk. That is a very busy/crowded area and he was heading straight toward Hollywood and Highland, where the sidewalks are filled with pedestrian tourists. |

Dude, I've had some stupid bitch, i think it was the same bitch, run me off the road on an on-ramp. The two lanes merge to one. Everyone one was doing the one car next car blend and this bitch ran up on me and almost hit me. Two seperate occasions.

I thought about following him but I decided to pull over for a couple of reasons - first I didn't have my earpiece around and I didn't want to drive one-handed while talking to the cops, watching traffic, and watching the drunk. The other reason is because I'm pretty sure the drunk noticed me taking a picture of his license plate. If he saw me on the phone and then tried to run and ended up causing a crash, I'd feel partly responsible for it. Also, for all I knew the guy had a gun in the car - he obviously didn't give a shit about killing people based on how he was driving so he might have tried to use it. |

Question: if you suspect a drunk driver, would you actually call the cops? I mean I would probably do so to help prevent a tragic accident. On the other hand, it's gonna screw up the driver- especially if he/she is not drunk but has drugs or what not in their car. It's the case of "screw one and save others".

How is it screwing anyone? That's like saying calling the cops on someone waving a gun around at a crowd is screwing them. If I saw someone that wasted driving a car and didn't call the cops only to later see on the news they killed someone, I'd have a hard time living with that. Not to mention the father of a friend of mine was killed by a drunk.

You're putting more value on some persons drugs over the life of another person? I suggest you take a step back and examine that for a long time and find why that is HUGELY wrong. You need to sort out your priorities.

Well if you know for sure they are drunk then yes, calling the cops is the right thing to do. However, if they are not drunk but ended up getting search and get their ass hauled off to jail (found drugs, etc.) then I would feel guilty. Of course you would never hear about it but still...

Would you believe before even reading the post, knowing where he lives, just looking at the photo, I knew exactly where he was driving?
