c63 is a beast in the straight line.....however it lacks the BMW refined driving experience.
Top gear did a comparison between the M3, C63, and RS4?(I think), it should be on youtube. |

its a nice car alright... i wouldnt mind going for it if it had a manual gearbox.... other than that, i cant complain. for the price of the car and knowing that its going to be easy to tune it up and bring the 6.2L to produce 500+hp just like the E63/S63 with a simple ecu tune, the car is great.

Great car but not being able to get a manual is a dela breaker for me. How can it be called a sprts sedan when the only trasmission of choice is an automatic. They dont even have a dual clutch box in it. GIVE ME A BREAK BENZ.

I'm starting to think law degrees can be had at the nearest vending machine. Most of the lawyers I interact with don't know shit about their own profession and just mumble along in court. No offense to the OP btw. Being a lawyer isn't like the movies.

Law is one of those sectors where you've got 20 million a year salaries and $20,000 a year salaries.
I considered it for a while because I actually did like law but I didn't want to have to keep trying so hard for so long and bs'ing everyone and knowing everyone around you were playing their own games. Even if you get into one of the big law firms, it's 80 hour weeks and if you don't make partner... bleh. You've got more drive than I, good luck. But why not shoot for something along these lines? heh heh, just kidding, C63 is very nice.

The pay in the legal sector varies wildly. Anyone who expects a J.D. from any old law school to get them a Big Law job in today's economy is out of their mind unless your degree says Harvard, Stanford, Yale, etc. The legal sector is in the midst of major layoffs. Law firms are rescinding offers to law students, deferring start dates for months and hiring less graduates - if they're hiring at all. Salary freezes, pay cuts, tighter standards for raises, etc. are common. It's just not a good time to be graduating from anywhere, in any field, including law. The comment about the hours and BS is not universally accurate. Firms attitudes and expectations vary widely depending on many factors. NYC firms are viewed by many as a proxy for the legal world, and a good deal of those firms deserve their negative reputation for obscene hours and the BS that you talk about. Firms in other areas of the country, or nearby but with a different value system, can be fantastic places to work. The way I see it, if you go to a law school ranked outside the top 10 (maybe top 20) with the sole intention to graduate and make a lot of money you are flat out gambling. And that's even when economic conditions are good. OP, good luck, and for your sake I hope you are at the top of your class because no matter what you're in it for you'll need all the help you can get these days. Edited: spelling.
