iTunes mp3 cd's?

Anyone know how to take the songs they've purchased in iTunes and burn them to a CD in .mp3 format such that the e90's CD player will play them?

itunes songs are mpeg4 aren't they?

You may need to decode them to mp3, using some decoder you find on the net. Don't buy the decoder it's for FREE.

In ITUNES go to your playlist that you want to burn...

then go EDIT in the top of the menu...

select PREFERENCES...

go to ADVANCED....

select BURNING...

Click the circle that reads MP3 CD....

Click OK and exit.

Burn the CD using the BIG EYE in the top right of the menu...

Label with Sharpie...:rocks:

Found that, but it doesn't work for songs that you've downloaded from iTunes - it gives you a warning before it starts to burn.

Yup!

Here's how, when you burn them to a CD make sure you go to preferences.

Go to advanced. Go to burning and select MP3 CD. Make sure you burn at a minimum of 128 kbps for good sound quality, the higher the better.

If you didn't import your songs as MP3's you'll have to convert them to MP3 format before you attempt to burn them.

If they are protected AAC files, the easiest way to convert them to MP3's is to burn the songs you want on a CD, then import them again as MP3's.

If they are not protected. Select the songs that aren't MP3's and go to advanced and select convert to MP3 format.

You can set that up in preferences also in the importing section.

I will assume you know how to show kind in your library so you can do this all at once if you have AAC or WAV files.

Once you do this, create a library of the songs you want on your CD and highlight your songs and select burn your CD.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Happy 4th Kenny! It's 80 and sunny here in Portland, Oregon. Hope you get a chance to eat a hot dog today and have a little celebration.

Don't go too wild, not sure if they understand the 4th of July over there. Be safe!

Is there any easier/quicker way to do this? I have over 5000 songs on my computer; so it'd take forever to burn them to CD then re-rip them.
