Gustav almost got my 135 but missed

Here's some pics of the aftermath of Gustav.

My car didn't get a scratch and neither did the house. Close though.









The following pic is of my neighbor across the street. Damage like this is everywhere.



Here's another nearby house. These are two of MANY houses damaged by Gustav in this neighborhood.



We are being told power will be restored in 2 to 8 weeks for everybody. Could be longer. Power line damage is everywhere.
Amazingly, my pop's nursing home still has internet service. I'll be checking back in later. I've got to get out the chainsaw and get busy now.

Holy F-ing Sh!t! You aren't even safe inside your brick house if Gustav huffs and puffs... wow... amazing photos!

We are so sheltered from that stuff up in the frozen north...

We had similar damage here in Raleigh with Fran in 1996 so I feel for you man. It sucks.
