Last night while driving on local road I noticed the high beam was turned on

I did some research and know that there is this high beam assist feature.
My question is, when the car turns on the high beam automatically, in some situation, for example, local small road, will it violate the traffic rule? I very rarely used the high beam.

Not sure what the "traffic rule" is, but the high beam feature is pretty smart and auto-dims correctly to not blind other drivers and in areas with lots of lighting. Once in a while I've noticed that it might not dim when shining the headlights onto a car on a side street waiting to turn onto my street, but this is because of hills and a winding street.

It's entertaining to watch it activate high beams, as it appears to start directly in front of you and spread out to each side. Cool animation.

I do really like this feature. I didn't notice it until I was coming home late through a dimly lit area of my neighborhood and noticed the beams activation animation. Also noticed them shut off when another car turned onto the road. Very cool.

I can’t imagine any issue unless you keep your high beams on with an oncoming driver. Maybe you’re living in an area with well lit roads, but I couldn’t imagine not using them around many of the poorly lit/unlit roads I drive around here. They’re a safety feature.

"The Traffic Rule"?? There are many but as noted if you're not keeping the high beams on where there is traffic (either oncoming or directly ahead) what rule could you be breaking? The auto high beams are calibrated to turn off in those situations. It is interesting to watch it work and if anything it is pretty conservative about when high beams will come on.
