Posted this on other forum but maybe anyone here ran into this issue
I removed battery in trunk I also disconnect all the connectors from the red plate mounted along with POS post. This gave me more room to remove battery. So mistake was I closed trunk without the knowledge that BMW 2009 forward no trunk key hole. ( I learn that now)
Mine is 2011 328i coupe. Things I tried
1.Using new battery with jumper cables to the under the hook posts. Nothing
2. Using my E46 from the post and straight from the battery , nothing
I got those from YouTube. It may be due to me disconnecting those other cables from the red plate on battery.
I removed the rear seat but the back ready are on a swivel hinge.
Need the wiring diagram for car. Maybe I can go straight to fuse location apply 12v and unlatch trunk?
Last resort is make hole through ski port.
Please if you can guide me to the wiring diagram I appreciate it. Did quick search at work but have so many firewalls not great online access. Or phone service. Toilet paper technology is high top secret I guess hahaha

I found a link to the electrical schematics also a great written job on how. Had to go under the fuse box fine pin 12 apply 12v and the latch popped. So thanks
