Were you as disappointed as I to see no seatback pockets on the new G60? Why were they eliminated and how to get back that very simple and convenient storage space?? Very poor decision by BMW. /X3

I rarely have backseat passengers other than my dog, so I didn’t really care. I’m more upset with the hard plastic doors.

I'm really tempted to take a poll about what people put in these seatback pockets. My Audi has them, my Acura had them, and I never use them.

Other than my emergency bin in the trunk that contains a first aid kit, warming blanket, life straw, freeze dried rations, emergency flasher kit, quart of oil, microfiber cloths, quick detailer, jump start battery pack, etc....I have nothing in the car.

My kids keep a set of sunglasses in their in both my wife’s and my car. And on road trips it holds a tablet/phone or magazine or small book. So yes they will be missed.

Umbrella, sun shade if you have the kind that folds/twists into a circle. Also good for a bottle of wine if you want to keep it upright for sediment and don't have a passenger to do so.

Haha been here in Puget sound almost 20 years and we still use umbrellas walking to hockey games from dinner or back from the bus stop with kids.

Nothing. Ever. Door bin or trunk for longer term storage in the car, or on the seat itself to remind me to take it inside when I get home.

I rode in the back seat of a new E class a month ago and it did have the pockets. Other than it looking like it belonged there, because it’s been there for decades, I didn’t think about using it. I don’t even use them on planes.

I place only my sunshade, but saw a post that mentioned grocery bags that I may try.
