Wow. He made so many musical contributions it is really amazing. TV show themes, movies, jazz band, backing top singers, he really did it all over many decades.

Yeah RIP. Saw that too. Respectable age though, 91.
His legacy is stunning. 28 grammy's and 79 nominations to name something... I think there was a saying amongst musicians that if Quincy calls to ask to play on an album of another artist, you don't decline. ever. I think we all have some albums where he put his special finger on. Recently (well...2018, time flies) he made a song I really liked with Chaka Khan and Mark Ronson (someone I really like too, I guess he does now what Quincy Jones did in the 70's and 80's): Keep reachin: The documentary is a must watch for music lovers.
