MyBMW app stopped updating

Anyone else have their MyBMW app stop updating? Mine has not sync’d with either car since 9/20.

MyBMW everything seems to be out. I tried to check for open recalls and got this...

Same for me, last update 4 days ago (9/24) and I couldn't figure out why the car stopped updating location -- double checked iDrive settings, rebooted iDrive, phone, app, etc.

From https://mybmw.bmwusa.com/home:
We are experiencing technical difficulties due to the impact of Hurricane Helene. We are currently working to restore functionality as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.

It is funny that they started experiencing the effects of the hurricane a couple days before it reached the US...

My car has been offline since Thursday. No traffic info and no trip data in the app.

apparently BMW is self-hosting all of the connected drive functionality at their Spartanburg location, and have zero redundancy, DR , or multisite failover capability in place.
