Stopped at garage, Friday . Topped up fuel. Got back in car but would not start. Yellow spanner / drivetrain fault message.Computer said could drive at low power but could not start. Attempted multiple on/ off reboots. Called BMW assistance… they sent out a third party guy who could not do anything as car too new ! ( they also sent wrong reg to recovery crew ). He did interrogate computer which came up with multiple engine management issues . No BMW technician available until Monday . Called BMW dealer where I bought the car ( Cockermouth) for some tech advice….useless and rude ! Dumped car at garage … told to rent a car from enterprise. Anyone else had complete failure of new 5 series ?
PS really like the car when it’s working !
