G60 performance question

I’ve read a number of articles about the G60’s performance in various iterations, and many of the articles publish statistics for 0-60 times, quarter mile, etc.

Has anyone seen any publications on how the various trim levels do in respect to lateral g’s and slalom related maneuverability?

If I’ve heard it once, I’ve heard it a thousand times that she gained weight over the previous generation, clearly this still translated well in performance acceleration figures, and the platform overcame that.

I just haven’t seen much data related to agility, specifically.

I too would like to see a more detailed review of the G60 particularly the 550e. There is a surprising lack of real test data of the hybrid cars outside of BMW's published data given that the M5 and 550e are in full production as are the electric cars. The M60 seems to get more attention as BMW tries to push its capital investment in electric cars.

Yes this is surprising and frustrating, since it’s been a year now since the press junket to Portugal. Real road tests and magazine reviews with that kind of info is lacking. I believe BMWs plan, like Porsche’s plan for the refresh Taycan before it maybe got derailed, was to get some 2025’s into the US for a sort of official launch in November 2024, and that’s when the we might see CONUS You-tubers and magazines get something to work with.

I agree wholeheartedly, this is BMW's plan. They are deliberately not exposing the BMW 550e to the press. With many BMW M550's coming to lease term, buyers don't have much to compare to. And the brief video reviews some journalists get are short. The reviewers tend to be in awe over the power of say the 550e, but I never know what their point of reference is.
