Emergency call system malfunction? Snow tires?
I have 2024 i5 M60.
Since the new update, have anyone seen emergency call system malfunction on the screen? My other question is whether people in the past have used snow tires during the winter for the car. |

I had intermittent failures of my emergency call system. Ended up being linked to a failing TCB (telematics control box) which was replaced under warranty. Are you having other connectivity-related errors -- climate commands and destinations not going through when you send them from the app, traffic data not displaying, etc.?

I have snow tires and used them during this past winter. We didn't get a lot of snow, but they seemed to work well enough. I have 19" wheels with Pirelli P Zero Winter tires on them. Getting tires and wheels for a new model vehicle in late winter was expensive and it took around 10 weeks for delivery. I ordered 19" matte black M-performance wheels (Style 942M, I think) with winter tires through the dealer, part numbers are 36-11-5-A8E-220 and 36-11-5-A8E-229. Tires sizes are 245/45R19 102H (front) and 275/40R19 105H (rear).
Overall I'm happy with them -- they look good, are easy to clean, and the tires seem at least adequate (and certainly better for cold than summer-only tires). |
