We ordered a 2024 530e iX some time ago and its date of arrival at the railhead in eastern Canada is the end of September.

It was surprising to learn from our dealer that there was no spare tire avaialble on the 5 series.

I have since learned that BMW Canada decided not to include the spare tire either as standard or as an option.

Throught this forum I have learned that some of you in the US have ordered the BMW spare tire kit with your build, adn I want to see if I can add it post build.

We tend to drive to a lot of more remote places and the idea of not having a spare tire is in our view foolhardy.

I have found a company that makes a spare for cars that are spareless, but it
seems like a good second choice to getting the OEM US kit and trunk pan.

Does anyone have the part number for that US option?

The cost may be stupid but I would prefer to have the car look all OEM.

Any help or siggestions most appreciated.

I would say you might want to Give the parts Dept at BMW Seattle a call. Maybe they are able to order it and you can make a day trip down south and pick it up.
