Got to rent an i5 in England!
The family took a vacation to England a few weeks back. We flew into Manchester and had to drive 2 hours to Beverely. I was able to rent an E40 from Sixt for the trip. I have to say I LOVED it! It wasn't fully loaded, but the tech is a huge step up from my 2019 Audi. LOL!!!
The nav and cameras were top notch. The car did an incredible job of reading the speed limit signs and warning me accordingly. 😃 I wasn't going crazy with the performance, and I didn't want a foreign traffic ticket, so I kept things under control.....for the most part. The directions were very accurate from what I could tell and the specifics at roundabouts saved me a few times. All in all, I was so impressed that I ordered an M60 when we got back to the states. I was getting the itch for a new car and this one has taken care of that itch and then some. So glad to be coming back to the BMW family! This was my go to source for information when I had my E90s back in the day, and I look forward to learning all over again! |

You drove a rented E40 and are now purchasing a G60? I hope you test drove the G60 too. :-) Just to be sure you like it too.

Oh for sure! I test drove both once I got back to the states. There is a big difference between right side and left side driving. 😃 In England, I was grandpa cautious. Here, I can cut loose with familiarity. 😂
