Hello all,

Did anyone else purchase Welcome Light Animations for their new 5 series or was aware this was available? I was informed by my service advisor that this offer is available for all new G60s apparently and it adds additional animations over the standard one which we get as standard.

I checked it on a similar i5 they had on the floor and I loved the "Vivace" animation. Unfortunately I checked online later and I couldnt see the animation again as it seems like no one/ BMW has uploaded it for whatever reason

So I decided to try out the offer myself as it was $75 for lifetime so it stays with the car. I purchased it through the Canadian Connected Drive portal which was pretty straightforward. And now that I have it I see these three additional modes in my car:

• Vivace
• Adgaio
• Allegro
• Standard

Personally, I think 'Vivace' looks the best. I am attaching it below in case anyone wants to see it as I couldn't find this literally anywhere else.

Let me know what you guys think, like it/ hate it? I personally think its better than the standard one and much more lively. Would you get one for yours?

PS: don't judge me too bad on my video skills please I tried my best in the dark with some help from my cousin

Also let me know if you would like to see the other modes, will try to record it then if someone wants those

I think vivace>allegro>adagio in this case.

Definitely much more lively than standard.

I purchased it for my car shortly after I got it. It's a minor thing, but it's fun to have.

Yeah a nice thing over the standard one. What's the issue with your build right now? And what spec did you choose

I did when I got car in Nov. but to tell you true first week I experimented and just thought about that I had them reading this.

Yeah it's buried under the menus and not much communication about this I feel, how do you feel about the lights tho?

I ordered a 540i X-Drive in Oxide Grey metallic. Premium package, Msport Pro with red calipers. All options including Luxury Seating in Black Veganza, and open pore grey trim. I did not get the Panoramic roof or glass controls.

The problem is my broker was able to get me a build slot in Sept. So i won't see the car until late Oct or early Nov. I hate waiting.

I had to wait 4 months which felt like a really long time 😬
