Just noticed today in the MyBMW app that the Shell Recharge account is showing as inactive. I clicked through the link, confirmed my payment info (removed it and readded it for good measure) and still inactive. Perhaps this explains why “Charge Here” through the app did not work the last time I tried it at my office.

I tried calling the Shell Recharge/BMW support number but was on hold forever—maybe they don’t open until later.

Has anyone else seen this and if so any suggestions on how to fix it?

Well, as mysteriously as it became “inactive” a short time later it was active again. Chalk another one up to the gremlins.

I had exactly the same experience.

I always feel better when it is not just me.

I did call back to the so-called Shell Recharge BMW Customer line. They claimed they were not that and told me to call BMW. I called BMW and while on hold noticed it was working again.
