Yesterday my cars mirrors were not where they are programmed to in memory. Clearly pointed in so they reflected the rear windows. I was the only driver with my key only in the area. When I pressed the "1" to try and get them to move ....nothing. I just got a message about setting it to memory or something but they didn't move. I then hit the "2" button to put it into my wives setting with the thought of then hitting the "1" again, her settings were not doing any changes. It gave the same message about how to set it to memory or something. I went to the store and when I got back in the mirrors and seat went to the stored positions. I of coarse tried the "2" and the seat started adjusting again. SMH, I cant even report this to the dealer because what can be done?
Once again the "random" crap this car does is just mind boggling and irritating.
Rant over, otherwise it looks really good in photos. That is the best thing about it.

Also, try an idrive reboot if you haven't done one in a while.

Did your car temporarily disconnect your BMW ID? That happened to me just once and it lost my settings and the mirrors decided to point downwards. Recaptured that when I restarted the car.
