Alarm during tow

Hi All,
My m60 is currently on a flatbed because of a flat tire. The alarm keeps going off. Does anyone know how to stop it from triggering? Thanks!

There something in the owners manual about this. It's because the car thinks it's being stolen. Something about turning off the tilt sensor and alarm for towing.

There is an option to disable the motion sensor when you turn the car off (it pops up on the iDrive screen). I'm not sure if that would do it.

It might be the same as when you get out of your car to go into a store, but leave your wife or kid in the car. When you turn it off and leave someone in the car, press the options on the screen to not activate the alarm, and to let the preconditioning run (A/C) so they don't get too hot or too cold. In your case, probably just need to leave the alarm off and not choose the preconditioning one.

The user manual suggests pressing the lock button on the key remote twice will disable the tilt sensor (once to lock, and then once more within 30 seconds).

When switching off the car you get an option in the main screen to deactivate the alarm. I use that in our lift garage as the alarm also triggers when the lift moves.
