Has anyone received a quote from a BMW dealership to install the two side M Sport decals that are on the European versions, but removed from the U.S. versions?

One local BMW dealership here in So Cal, Autonation BMW of Buena Park, recently quoted me $599 for labor only. That seems like 4+ hours of labor to adhere two stickers.

What is your experience?

TBH, it will take you at most 5 minutes (or 300000 milliseconds!) to install it yourself. You can even buy it from Etsy to save money. Trust me, you won’t tell if it’s the authentic one or aftermarket one when you stand 1 feet away from your car.

That's literally an outrageous, and quite frankly shameful quote for putting a stick-on emblem on a car. Out of humor, I would ask them for an itemized list of the labor costs.

• Remove Emblems from Packaging - $99
• Align Emblem to Left Fender $200
• Align Emblem to Right Fender - $200
• Adhere Emblems - $100

Here's the actual BMW Part Number that I found for the silver ones:

Part number: 51-14-5-A4C-E12 - Emblem Side Panel 511410

Pricing varies from online BMW OEM sites, I think the cheapest I've seen it is on the site below, for $43.89. Important to note, I believe this is per EACH emblem.

Here's an image of 51-14-5-A4C-E12 - Emblem Side Panel 511410, if you wished to compare to the dark ones I have read where people purchased them, and they ended up being fakes (they faded over time, according to their posts). I'm not sure what the longevity is on the OEM ones, but just something for consideration.

Omg this is highway robbery!
As what others on here have already mentioned… buy the badges elsewhere and attach them yourself. Here’s a link for the gloss black ///M fender badge and part number is 51-14-5-A4B-373 for your reference.
