Bugatti Tourbillon: Naturally aspirated V16 hybrid hypercar
This is the pinnacle of the automotive industry. Amazing that a new NA V16 would be developed. I wonder what additional platforms VAG has planned for this engine. VAG is truly the king of the industry. https://www.bugatti.com/the-bugatti-models/tourbillon/ |

Absolute work of art, I really don’t think they could have done any better. That instrument panel is incredible. I need to get rich.

Pretty damned awesome, quite unexpected to see a naturally aspirated engine backing up the electric systems, but certainly makes it even more special.

Here's a video of one in the flesh (you'll have to deal with the presenter however, mute is your friend). That interior is incredible.

Beautiful beast and not really a brand fan. Beyond flamboyant.

incredible car. and i love the fact they ditched the turbos and are making more power. the chiron/veyron sounded kinda because of that... but now they have a cosworth v16 revving to 9500.
its always funny to me how the low end of the market (civic) and extreme high end (rolls / bugatti) all stick to analog gauges and minimal screen size. but in the middle you have BMW, Audi, MB that are all about having the biggest screen surrounded by cheap materials like fake leather.

I've never found Bugatti's 'lust worthy' in the same way i've found Ferrari's and Paganis in the past (like wow that is beautiful, pull at my heart strings and warm my loins kind of reaction). This one changes that. Absolutely incredible.

I'm not digging the snout; it's too pronounced. Without seeing how the hands move on the gauges, it's hard to preceive if they will be confusing to capture the information they are to supposed to relay to the driver. It's kind if steampunk-ish to me.

Same, but I'm willing to suspend judgement until I see one IRL.

I think the still frame in that last video just caught a really bad angle or made it way more pronounced. It doesn't look any worse than the Chiron from the video angles I've seen and even the others in this thread...but it's also not a great feature IMO either. And yeah, steampunk seems to be a good way to describe it.

The lighting in the first two shots hides the extra bits between the spokes on the wheels, and that's a very good thing, as the reality isn't as nice.
But Jesus, this thing is just beautiful, even in mock-up form. Just pure eye candy. |

The rear reminds of P1 too much and does not flow with the sharper lines of the front design. The snout could be a bit smallee also. Not the most cohesive design like P1.
The steering wheel is awesome. The gap/space behind center dash does not work |

I'm 99.999% sure I will never see one in real life. My circle of friends does not include those who wear diamond-encrusted unobtanium.

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
