Does anyone know the BHP output on a 2002 Mercedez Benz ML500 Renntech? I raced one of these yesterday. On the first redlight I lost when I was in regular DS sports mode, but then I switched to manual on the second redlight we met up at and won.

I wasn't sure if it was fully tuned or he just had the renntech exhaust system. Something leads me to believe that he only had the exhaust since I beat him on the second run.

hey..dont know if this helps but i know that the stock ml500 has 282 hp in 2002...dont know why they didnt put the 302 from the other models until 2006.

an ML? that thing is HEAVY so if it only had an exhaust then you were right to beat him.

the 282 hp engine is the same in the s430, but then they placed the engine in the S500, which is 302hp. But due to the weight of the SUV, you would have won.

depends if it was a full job or not. hell it could hav ebeen jsut exhaust and body work... but if it was full engine, i would say maybe 350-400... prob a lot closer to 350 seing s they would save the 400+ for ml55

First race he had be by about 1 1/2 car lengths, second race I had him by about 2 car lengths.
