Chicago Manual of Style

I have to write a paper using this format and everywhere I look online just directs me to a site to buy it. Is anyone familiar with this format?

Do I need a cover page?
Is there a heading similar to MLA with name, professor, date due, etc?

I can't find anything online except for how to do sources.

Thanks in advance.

Nikki,

wow, now that's a trip down memory lane!
thankfully, the day you graduate is the day you forget all about that
style crap.

have you tried wikipedia.org?

yeah wikipedia says something about hanging indentation but that's about it. it's like the chicago manual of style people paid everyone the internet to not post anything in reference to their guide so everyone has to buy it.

Uhm I just found this, " For the first page of the bibliography and the first page of the endnote page, the page number is placed on the bottom center of the page, or omitted."

Why would you need an endnote page AND a bibliography? Isn't it like the same thing but different format?
