Rear Legroom

So I've struggled to find time to go to a dealer to see and assess an i5 eDrive40's rear head & legroom. We have a toddler (will be 2.5 YO) when our MYLR lease is up in October...my wife will continue to sit in the back seat for a little bit longer to keep our daughter company so I'm curious...

How is the rear legroom and space for those in similar situation with toddler seat?

Thanks, in advance!

I’m 6’3 and I can comfortably sit behind my driver seat when it’s set to my driving position. Have no issues with headroom or legroom.

I'm 5'11 while my wife is 5'4 so being that this will be her car, your comments certainly help

Not anticipating a second child given our ages so can safely consider an sedan as well...

Considering:
i5 eDrive40
Model X LR
Model S
Fisker Ocean

Considering your list might I add a humble plug for the iX?

Check these two guys as reference.

i5 space is the largest one in similar piers. S90, A6, etc.
But it doesn't look like a 5-meter long car.
Because All seats are 10cm deeper than others. The seat back angle is also more oblique than others.
So it's comfortable sitting inside, even it looks "small".

Similar illusion happens on X5 vs X1/X3.

I can't get over the front-end...it's a car that doesn't force me to look back at it. Paying that much for a car, I better love it inside and out...

Looks are so subjective. The front is the same as my i5 and I could stare at it all day. It definitely has the look back factor for me. Every child and teen on my street stare at my car when I drive by. The ignore the Taycan and the Teslas. I think it appeals to a younger demographic.

you're definitely right about the Taycan. My older friend just turned 65 last year. He bought a brand-new Taycan as birthday gift for himself. It was red. We drove it from Boston to NYC and it was an amazing drive.
Unfortunately, nobody really looked at the car even when we were driving aroudn Times Square in the afternoon.

I don’t get it. I think it looks awesome and I really like the new model but it’s a bit out of my price range.
