Just more clues what the m5t will look like. I will say if it goes on sale at 150k, wild that it will make the rs6 the bargain buy. I'm a car addict, but prices are looney these days.

Can we please stop with these kinds of comments? If the growing number of users here more interested in EVs and PHEVs kept writing comments like this everytime an ICE car is discussed, we'd be in trouble.

You don't like EVs? Guess what. We don't care. This is a thread to talk about the touring reveal.

I for one I love it and would get one over the sedan any day.

150k for a super wagon… probably not that far from the truth on pricing and the RS6 being the bargain buy.

Sorry this wasnt an echochamber for your own opinion. I would hate for someone to be misled into thinking there would be a lot of resale demand for this kind of wagon only to find a sharper depreciation curve.

I have a vested self interest in a higher supply of used combustion fast wagons. Let's make it happen boys.

There’s lots of drivel on both sides of EVs vs ICE disparaging the other side. He or she is 100% entitled to their opinion. If you don’t like it, tough for you. Telling another member to stop commenting isn’t helpful when it attacks no one.

I mean, you can spec a RS6 Performance to $162K pretty easily. I think they start at almost $130K. At the end of the day, that's somehow a shit ton & a reasonable amount of money for a performance car these days lol.

Watching the Auto Bild video definitely shows it off better. I think it looks better than the sedan. Still not overl the tablet cockpit design nowadays but that is the trend unfortunately. This could be interesting if they release a 540 variant in the US. Probably won’t happen but would be cool nonetheless.

It looks so tall. Loose lots of typical wagon sleek appearance. As much as I like wagons, this is not as exciting in the looking department.

First impression.... hideous. I mean, that profile. Wow.
Maybe it's the color... but that ass is too round from the side.

Love the look of it - I wonder how much heavier the wagon would be vs the sedan?

I agree with everything you said. Here in NA I've heard that touring sales were too low to justify them but on the Audi and Volvo side in my province I see way more wagons than sedans on the road. There seems to be a demand for wagons; I hope BMW changes its mind.

Fun fact: a dealer told me some of his customers gave deposits for the i5 Touring even knowing full well that it wouldn't be offered here. They asked the dealer to use that as leverage to convince BMW Canada that there was demand. He says his manager is keeping the pressure on BMW to eventually get them. For what it's worth...

What a few years ago the rs6 started at 112, admittedly no one was paying that. What used to feel reasonable was 120-125, and obviously that's still a ton. Inflation has moved prices out of my range of crazy.

An electric station wagon? Maybe 10-15 people in the US would actually purchase one of these.

A model Y performance is basically an electric wagon. I had one. Best selling car in the world.

Basically, you’re gaslighting. A Model Y is as much of a wagon as an X3.

Looks like the glass doesn't pop up by itself separate from the rest of the hatch. Kind of disappointed if true. One of the features I really like and use a lot on the F31.
