Good review! Any time I see an i5 M60 I get excited. It's such a nice looking car and, despite the complaining naysayers, they are doing the legacy and brand right and moving in a promising direction.

I have an M550i and I look forward to picking up one of these sometime in 2025--in 2024 I'm opting for a long a awaited purchase of an X5MC.

Can’t keep them in stock at BMW Seattle. They just got 5 more in and there is another 14 in transit. I picked mine up yesterday. This is my sixteenth car in my 50 years of driving. Needless to say, those were all high performance or sports cars. The i5 is my favorite already by a large margin. It’s stunning.

I have seen 2-3 i5 cars around Dallas. I do not think they look bad at all. BMW could have done a lot worse. I drive a F90 and am waiting to see what the next M5 looks like.

I'll keep driving my gas vehicle, while my state copies Seattle hatred of gasoline cars, guns, and America. Love watching these electric vehicles waiting around in the parking lots for a recharge.

Too late for my state! its already forced on the public to have a majority of Electric vehicle's.

Absolutely. Enjoying our second day in the i5. Plugged in at home last night. Took 3 hours to get back to 100%. Plenty of time to charge both vehicles overnight.

Driving all over today. Laughed at the line of cars getting gas at Costco. Averaged 3.2 miles per kWh, yesterday. The sky lounge roof looks amazing when you are in the backseat.

I have to agree that trying to push EV's down every ones throats is very un American. The coast of owning an EV is steep when you make the purchase and it would take more years then I live to recoup the costs. I am not trying to be an eco-hero or anything like that but it am doing my part for the environment the best I can. Oh yeah, the 600 HP all wheel drive instant torque is addicting too!

I don't mind the EV push but 2 things that keeps me off getting into an EV car.
1. Charging infrastructure for on the road 2. Style, all EV cars has come out looking ugly and goofy.
Bmw almost has the style but still looking goofy. Merc and audi seems to be
going in the right direction and making bigger strides.
