Placed order for i5 M60……..originally ordered M Brooklyn Grey, but dealer has confirmed Fire Red now available to order, so switched to that. (Due in late Jan/early Feb)

Only ever seen the Goodwood Festival of Speed car in that colour……so pretty excited, but obviously a little anxious! 😬

Has anyone else also ordered that colour, or even seen in real life yet…?

I've never been much on red for any car that isn't a Ferrari but that color on the M60 is absolutely fantastic. It's so cool!

I'm taking delivery of an M60 with Oxide Grey Metallic next Saturday. In the sun it's got these bronze hues to it that are really cool. I'm not usually into grey tones, they tend to look boring, but these lines with the black molding and bi-color aero wheels and red calipers really pop.

I wanted the red option but was not available during the initial pre orders. It wasn’t til much later down the road it became available. But Brooklyn grey looks good, been enjoying my m60 for few weeks now.

Thought about it. It was available when I ordered. It was too hard to tell from the website, so we went with a color that we could see in person which was Tanzanite Blue. The red looks good though. BMW needs to improve their build website to more accurately reflect the colors.

The Oxide Grey was a definitely a close second…. Looks good, but for me too beige in certain lights. Would’ve preferred a “proper” grey….

I saw a video that said that BWM made some comment to the effect that they were having to go to this "oxide" look with the bronze/brown hues because the pure silver/grey was causing interference with the sensors.

I’ve sen it for real at the Munich IAA earlier this year and it’s a cracking colour, particularly in the sun.
So I don’t think you will be disappointed with the colour

Ordered roughly the same, expecting it in Canada in mid-late December.
After I saw a fire/vegas red in real life I couldn't resist.

Here in the Vancouver area they had a single one early in Sept/October touring around the various dealerships:
