i5 M60 Available HP and Torque at 50% Battery

Hey guys, I'm looking into getting an i5 M60 and watched a review ( minute 13:10 of the review noted below ) that the available horsepower and torque are reduced when the battery charge is at 50% or below.

Do you know if I will have all 593 HP and 586 torque throughout?

I'll be interested to get a definitive answer too. Maybe the "boost" mode becomes unavailable at some point but on the i3 you get max power until the battery is almost completely depleted.

Where did you read this? I will never charge to 100% so that would be a big issue.

Never heard of this situation in any other reviews. In the video they also claimed that there's no way to turn off DSC, while in fact you can turn it off from the SPORT mode menu. I'd take the claims with a grain of salt.

0-100km/h in 3.9s at 37% battery charge (did not appear to engage boost mode)

0-100km/h in 3.81s at 55% battery charge (with boost mode but did not use launch control)

Just 2 data points but doesn't seem to vary too much
(official number is 3.7s)

Though it’s not the M60, I have the eDrive40 and boost mode works fine under 50%. The only time the car limited the performance is from the selected modes, like Efficient Mode. Sport works fine and I’ve gone as low as 24% so far.

I read something about incremental performance decreasing in certain situations like overheating battery. Or rapid discharge of your battery. But other than that it should function at full performance if the right settings are engaged.

On the i4 you get full power until about ~20% SOC so I would expect the same?
