How do you lift up a F22 sunroof?
The F22 2 series sunroof goes down and into the body when it opens, I believe it's the same for M240i as well. But I keep seeing some people's M235i sunroof able to go up, sometimes not just lift up but actually fully extend out when open. Is that a Euro thing?? Am I missing something?
How do you even lift up the sunroof when I look at the motion, at the very end it lifts up to close. Are you able to lift pass the closing point?? |

The button is meant to have three directions... It slides either way to slide the glass open or closed. But pushing the button in or up, so to say, will result in the sunroof going in the same direction. The back of the roof glass will pop up. To close, just push the button forward as if you were closing it regularly.

Is there a speed limit? When tilting up it kinda acts like a spoiler, will the mechanism gets damaged under high speed? |
