Well I can't say that I've ever owned a fast car, but the fastest one I've driven was a Ferrari F430.

Fastest own: my 332ti, although I had a 1971 Nova SS 396 that was damn quick in a straight line

Fastest Driven: Porsche GT3 RS, Lotus Esprit TT, Ferrari F430. On paper, the Ferrari is fastest, but in that company, it's real hard to tell. I've also driven a few purpose built open wheeled mod cars that are ridiculously fast.

That would be my lowly Suzuki SV650.

With 4-wheels it would have been a 1971 Mustang built up with long list of blah blah blah go-fast goodies.

To answer your question, it was my e90 325 but as you know it wasn't that fast. Most of my other cars have been smaller, tossable cars or honkin' SUVs.

FASTEST IN WHAT ?

My best ever in a turbo/nitrous civic 10.5 1/4 mile dragstrip (I owned the car) car was almost 450whp Atomic Perfromance Dyno Fullerton, CA.

The fastes I have ever gone in the freeway NSX-t 175-180mph ( Dads Car)

Fastest In autocross event 1min 25sec it was a 2 minutes corse and i was in a supercharged mazda miata.

Fastest in My acura TL 13.1 at 102mph 1/4 mile

Fastest In my 95 Corolla DX 100mph and it was shaking like hell. LOL

Fastest car owned: 2001 Lotus Esprit V8TT. Race ECU (no limiter, 1bar boost), hyperflow cats, reflowed turbos, custom suspension mods and lots of other mods to keep cooling in check.....this is a British car ya know...haha...

Fastest car driven: Ultima GTR.
