I'm sorry, but there's no way I'm reading through a 15 page thread unless you tell me what post # to look for.

Really, why do you care so much? Even if the guy is BSing, who cares? It's the internet, people do that a lot, unfortunately.

If you "could care less", why start a thread on a different website(s)? I doubt the #2 guy knows you, or the guy you think is lying, exist. Why bother?

Cause I can't think of anything for the life of me that would measure to Pi.

Finally, something worthy of some thought in this thread.

Or another way to look at it is, there are mature people here who aren't interested in immature cross site troll postings...

How do I get hooked up to a Care o Meter? I'd love to know when I have or cause a Pi moment. Now that would be interesting.

Don't lump all us geezers into the 'anti-dragrace' crowd. But there's an awful lot of chest pounding going on in that e90 link. (And whatsup with the 60' time - no way that's possible ; -).

I didn't get past post 2 in the link. Not sure if I can still comment on this thread, although I'm certain a mod will alert me if I've stepped too far.

However, I do have one excellent use for this meter. Turbo boost gauge. Since we'll all be (or already likely are) boost-a-holics after the 1's arrive... Perhaps we should all shoot for Pi atmospheres of boost :eyebulge:

Never mind the supercooling we'd need to cool the intake charge, and the poor itty bitty snails we'd be killing...

Forgive me, but IMO the mature thing to do in your case would be to not post at all. If you have no interest in the thread why drag it down with your sarcasm and cynicism?

I am sorry people of 1addicts'. I genuinely didn't realize it was so clich'e to link another forum. :iono: If i was asking for you guys to take my side that would be one thing. However all i am asking for is your opinion out of general curiosity. And partly to see who's educated in drag racing.

It's just sad that you find this sort of thing far to common on forums. I really like this forum and so far i have been nothing but help for the people that some of you ignore/haze. But i don't blame you guys for a system that is set up in a way that you have to prove someone wrong in order to get respect. However you are given a choice and thats why forums are so great. We are all here to learn and all can be forgiven.

I apologize if the age crack got to you. It was meant to be light hearted.

I think this is a valid thread for the general/other cars section. I've never seen a big issue with linking to another forum about a discussion or topic. And there is nothing wrong with a little drag racing here and there.

to stick with the original question any one who cant show proof of something like that is full of it. if you have the money for a radically modified 335i you should have no problem getting a time slip scanned. um I don't think he had a real time slip(couldn't make my way through the whole thread

I know who 'Walked U' is just as much as I know who you are. Some random internet person. What I did was for me and my sanity alone. I will make my opinion known when someone tarnishes the unspoken respect drag racers carry. That's just one of my positionalitys and I apologize if it offended you. What I said was said because I have the ability to put myself into another's shoes. I did just that; it soured my stomach and I chose to make my peace with it. I don't expect you to understand that but I do expect you to understand that there is a margin of error when you make assumptions.
