Lamborghini Lanzador EV concept
Most powerful Lamborghini drivetrain - up to 4 motors but no technical details yet.
https://uk.motor1.com/news/682491/la...-conept-debut/ By: Brett Evans Published by: Brian Potter In spite of its history of building powerful V12 supercars, Lamborghini is looking toward an electric future with the Lanzador concept. The 2+2 Lanzador isn’t merely a design exercise, but rather an early look at the automaker’s first EV, due to arrive in 2028 as an alternative to other high-dollar EVs. Doing battle with the likes of the Ferrari Purosangue and Rolls-Royce Spectre, the Lanzador should feature the all-weather performance of the former with the jaw-dropping proportions and presence of the latter. Bold styling, a futuristic cabin, and most importantly, a staggering power output of 1,341 bhp guarantee it'll fit in with other Lamborghini models, V12 or not. As a concept, the Lanzador doesn’t have too many concrete details as to the EV powertrain found underneath its bold skin. Lamborghini says that it will feature dual motors with a high specific output, giving it all-wheel drive. Powering those motors will be an unspecified “high-performance battery, which also ensures a long range,” but again, details are scant. Lamborghini will cop to one significant figure, however: The Lanzador will boast 1 megawatt of power, which translates to that four-digit horsie number. It really does. Is this based on some platform that we'll see from Audi/VAG? I don't see any upcoming platforms that this could be based on, or lambo just decided to announce it first in this way

An interesting car to say the least. I saw it at Quail and was much, much more interested in the Revuelto. It honestly just looks awkward in person, like a scrunched Urus.
Apparently a 2028 release date. Here is a short walk around video: https://youtube.com/shorts/bLV0gwV2oCM?feature=share Real life photos (and some of the Revuelto to cleanse the palate):

We all know that when lamborghini is going to launch an EV, it'll be a rebadged VW/Audi platform/driveline that by then has been on the market for 1 year+.
Just the bodypanels and Interior will be different.. From that POV it'll be nothing special. |

Does that tool in the first picture ever wear anything other than chinos and an untucked dress shirt?
The car looks crap too, btw. |

Saw this in real life at Pebble Beach a couple weeks ago
It has the Halo warthog thing going. Interesting car, but admittedly the lack of a dramatic engine in a Lamborghini is disappointing.

Because it's part of VAG, a company that rather makes money than holds on to philosophy
Lamborghini has already become the domain of soccer moms in Urus'es

I'll go against the grain here and say I like it, but the huge wheels have to go. Put some smaller diameter wheels on it with low pros, get it close to the ground, and I think it would look dope.
