Notorious issues with used 2018-2020 X2 xDrive28i? To look out for when buying
Looking at buying a used X2 years 2018-2020 xDrive28i. Are there any notorious faults? Like with 3-series N20/N26 engines: the timing chain, oil pump module, and turbo oil return line. What should I look for?
Although, I am aiming for less than 60K miles, I may consider upto 100K miles, as I know that my 2012 F30 runs as good at 103K miles as it was at 50K miles. So if I see a 90K miles for $2000 less than a 50k miles, is that a fair price difference? Also, what is the actual gas mileage as you have confirmed on hwy and city? Thank you.

Might want to take a look at the right engine mount… they’re quite a thing on the F48s/F39s. In fact, I myself just had to get that replaced after about 4 years/38k miles…

It’s hard to find many used X2s. Probably because the last version was discontinued and the new one is not in production until Nov and won’t hit the dealers until early 2024?
So some current X2 owners that may normally replace their old X2 with a new X2 once the warranty is over, are forced to hold on longer? Maybe better to wait until those people unload their used X2 on the market in early 2024.
