5 Series G60 Front Rendering

Hey guys,

who‘s excited for the upcoming G60 5 series? This generation will focus more and more on electric drive. There will be different diesel, petrol and electric versions. Here you can see my latest rendering of the most powerful variant, the I5 M60 xDrive. The car will start production in July 2023 and we can expect the reveal in the next months.

I hope those grill slats are vertical. How sure are you of this render. Have you seen those grills in a spy shot?

My friend, there will be different versions of the grill. Depending on the motorization, there will be horizontal or vertical slats. The render is actually pretty accurate as you can see on my youtube video:

What’s with the rectangle thing in the middle of the kidney grille?I did notice it is also in the spy pics that were posted.Surely that won’t be on the production car.

This is the sensor for the driving assistant. This will unfortunately be moved into the grill and will also be present on the production car.

It looks like a terrible after-thought. Hopefully it can be integrated more cleanly.

I’m curious to see how the rear turns out on the m5 variant, especially if it’s fully electric.

That may be, but it will not be pasted in the center over the grills. It will be offset if need be.

I was thinking that it looked like another car but could not put my finger on it. Not very happy with the latest BMW design language.

The driving assistant electronics panel smack in the middle of the grill is atrocious. That’s the worst thing I’ve seen here in a while (and that’s saying a lot since the front page has been dominated by ZB G87s and gold trimmed G09s as of late). Not knocking you OP — it’s not your render, it’s BMW.

My goodness that is hideous. I’m no engineer or designer, but there must be a more artful and aesthetically pleasing way to put that somewhere. I understand that the F90 is purely ICE, so there are engineering differences, but they did after all figure out how to integrate it there as nicely as possible.
