Job potential (graduating)

Hey all,

I'm just seeking a little direction. Just a little background, I'm a marketing major here at a University in Jersey and since Highschool i've done internships at BMW and Porsche dealerships working with a GM. And just after ten months, I finished working at Mercedes as a porter/ and assisting salesman with test drives with customer when we were busy. I'm looking to get into the automotive industry, however i'm not sure of exactly what "fields" are offered at BMW and Mercedes Corporate, I would like to hopefully be a regional manager or start as an automotive specialist. I was just curious what other positions do you all know of that are offered that I could look into applying for that might fit my credentials?

Thanks for your time.

A marketing degree is not going to get you a regional manager job....you will need years of experience and probably at least an MBA>

not to mention you'll probably have to start at the bottom and work your way up...not a lot of management jobs for fresh college grads with no management experience.

Thank you all for your responses. and yes I know i would never be able to go right into being a regional manager, just something I was aspiring for my career to lead to. I'd probably be the youngest regional manager ever at 21 lol

ive spend 5 almost 6 years in the auto biz

1. its hurting bad right now so good luck finding a job

2. merc usually hires and promotes from within...im not sure about bmw but i believe most auto manu. follow the same practices.
