You can argue both sides. Texas beat Oklahoma on a neutral field. Texas loses to Texas Tech, but Oklahoma crushes Texas Tech. Texas or Oklahoma, I think it'll be a great game. I'm just glad Ohio State isn't in it.

I'm a certified anything-but-playoff hater, but the BCS didn't screw Texas. The Big12 Conference's tiebreaker rules did.

Deciding a division champ based votes and computers, rather than something related to play on the field, is absurd.

Isn't USC going to the Rose Bowl after Oregon's annihilation of Oregon State? (Pending what should be an easy victory at UCLA)

I'm just glad no Big 10 team is going. Conference is overrated...especially after two straight blowouts from the SEC of OSU in national title games.

Well, be prepared to see PSU get white washed by USC in the Rose Bowl, and thanks to Oregon State's choke, we will get to see Ohio State mopped up by Texas in the Fiesta Bowl.... Think I'll pass on both of those games.

+1 to the 8 team playoff. The teams that didnt make the playoffs would still have their meaningless bowl games(for revenue). I realize that even with a playoff system you will have people crying(#9 and higher) but at least it gives the 8 best teams in the nation a shot at the title. Then you have teams like Ball State, do they deserve a shot? They beat everyone they played. I don't know.

to a certain extent, it shouldn't be weighted very heavily, but the less computers the better.
