How do you Appreciate a thread?

I see "appreciate" at the bottom of some posts and not others.

How do you "appreciate" a post?

But if I choose any random thread to read, some posts in the thread have an appreciate button and other posts don't?

I think you will find it is simply the case of whether there is already use of the appreciate button. Then it chows clearly. If not, simply highlight the box.... and click the first 'appreciate'.

ah, just figured it out.... I wasn't seeing the greyed out Appreciate button! I did a search (Ctrl-F) looking for "appreciate" and it showed the greyed out button!
