Sorry for posting this here but got to share my exitment!

Yesteray went to my delaer to pick up some parts, and I see this black M6 on the parking lot. A real M6!

I asked SA he said yes, they are getting them now.

Went on to the bmwusa.com they have it too! All pricing and options, earlier they had it under "Future Models" now its available for delivery!

One confusion, The Euro model base price is 160K Euro, the base US model is $97K, are US models downgraded?

Still blame myself for not getting those M6 style rims for E90 when I had a chance

Anyway thanks for taking a look!

No not downgraded...subsidized

€109K in Germany, €164K here for example.

Not really downgraded, only thing what's missing is the launch control (a proper one that is). I can't remember any other differences. Check m5board.com for more info.

There were several M6s on the boat with my 330i several weeks ago. I hope some of the performance rubbed off.

Can't wait to see one in real life. I have already ordered a couple for clients. Alpine White with the Indianapolous Red interior seems to be the color of choice in our market. The only problem is you have to order full merino leather to get the red.

i was talking with a friend who works at the used car area of bmw, he said they just got their first m6 in.... it's like 100kish but because it's one of the first made, they're selling it at 60k over markup, so it'd cost 160k to buy it! crazy if you tell me. but he said the price was likely to drop after it sells for a lil bit... well i certainly hope so!

Base here is US $175K with over a year waiting list

when the M5 is in the mid 80's with no real performance gap

I'd take an M5 over an M6, and a porsche 911 over both of em!

You you can go the poser way, buy 650i (hardtop) and get body kit, exhaust, fenders, rims, brake rotors, CF roof, and last but not least ///M6 badge!

Personally I would do it, but your undivided reaction would be POSER, WANNABE, CHEAP

M6? My dealership already sold 5 of them last year and 2 of them(one black and one that red-ish colour from the pics) are driving in and around my hometown(and the red-ish one does trackdays with us too) since sept 2005 I think. What took them so long

Tell that PUTZ to come here and buy it form me at MSRP. I dont mark up cars over MSRP.

Hehe. I don't think he's buying it neways. i'm not sure the whole story, but he said something along the lines of 60k over something.. maybe i heard it wrong and he said invoice instead of msrp.. that may make better sense. *shrug* in anycase i don't know whether they'd be able to sell it for that price neways.
