I think this is a legit option too, I remember seeing it on an options sheet for some astronomical (aka Ferrari) price.

EDIT: I was mistaken with the LP640 Roadster. $15,500 USD

Looks like a full car overlay. There were a few threads from europe which introduced this aftermarket option to us. Look at the bottom of the rear bumper, you can see where the overlay have been sandblasted from those big sticky rear tires.

Awesome car for sure, but I don't understand what the big deal is about flat black - looks like primer to me. Cars are supposed to be shiny, especially cars like that...

Yep.

You can usually tell the difference between a wrap and paint, althought it's very tough. There's something different about them.

I believe there is at least once true matte black Scud that is paint.
