Didn't know they still sold cars in the US. Looks acceptable (as in, if I was in the market for 3 rows on a tight budget I'd overlook the exterior) and the price isn't bad, although I wonder what the interior on the base.

Mitsubishi should stick to air conditioners, ever since they gave up on the Lancer, Evo, and Eclipse there is no reason to care for this brand.

Well no one buy Mitsubishis anymore period, but why do econoboxes have to be hideous? Kia and Hyundai make shitboxes that actually look nice too.

Agree. Furthermore...a car is a transportation device. Tons of pictures but nothing about how it performs. Oh well.......

It looks fairly decent for its segment but the front end is a disaster. It's like they took two different front ends and stacked them on top of each other. I know big grilles are divisive but this front end is totally bizarre like they were trying to go where no other automaker has gone before and it appears they succeeded unfortunately for their dealerships as this may be the final nail in the coffin for the brand in North America.

The interior looks pretty good.

The front reminds me of the L200 from Asia/Australia markets. Side gives me the RR Evoque vibes with that clamshell hood, and the rear is just plain boring. The aggressive look might work better on a much larger body but right now it's just weird for me.

Also, weak sauce engine and powertrain. That's too bad.

Because the customers don't really care and good designers are expensive. Kia/Hyundai spent a ton of money poaching BMW and Bentley designers (https://pulsenews.co.kr/view.php?year=2020&no=333734 indicates Luc Donckerwolke, poached from Bentley, made about 1.5M USD in 2019).

Like you said, no one buys Mitsubishi’s so they probably don't have the budget for high performing design execs.
