Figured I should share this here as a former f82 and m235 lease owner I had strong interest in the Mk5 Supra from the jump. But it took a bit of time before attractive leases began to show up.

No, after tax my payment is $675. Keep in mind tax is based on county. Some counties have taxes as low as 7%

Warranty seemed really standard 4 years / 50k miles and 18 months of free maintenance.

I also got extended warranty through geico

All depends on what the 22 cars come out with. Toyota said changes would mostly be cosmetic but there is a rumor that there will be a manual option

Stick AND a targa and I’d be interested. That car had the most horrible vision issues I’ve ever experienced. I felt like I was in a pillbox while driving it, claustrophobic as hell. Taking off the roof would help a lot.

Yea very hit or miss. Assuming you have a long torso?

I'm 6,2 and fit fine but visibility out front is a 7/10

I'm almost 6'5, and I loved the look and feel of the car but I just couldn't *see* out of the thing. I was constantly looking at the pillars etc., my head was in the roof and my eyes were basically in the visor with the seat all the way down.

I had never really seen one in person, but having seen it I was actually impressed. The dealer had a brand new 2020, and was only asking $44-45k that day for it (can't remember exact price but it was mid 40s). For the price, I don't think there's a better new car on the market.

It would have taken one hell of a test drive for me to give up the M4 (especially since I'm a manual guy), but if they do come out with a manual and a targa I will seriously look into the car if it can be had for mid to high 40s. The G82 is completely dead to me as it's repulsive, and since I can't afford a GT3 adding a Supra is about my only option.

Hope you enjoy the car, they really are pretty cool and for the money absolutely fantastic.

DAS is not the same as a downpayment. DAS typically is dealer fees\taxes etc.

100%. When I had my MKIV way back in the day I took the targa off anyway over 45 degrees as long as no rain hah.

It comes with windshield replacement insurance - I'm also about 80% sure I'm keeping the Supra past lease expiration

Decent discount, what was the money factor and residual? I was expecting a $600/mo including tax with a $0 drive off for a great lease deal. Curious what your driving impressions are compared to the F8X you had. Do you feel the tranny is up to snuff? Considering one myself!
