What New cars are you looking forward to in 2021 / MY2022?
Here is my list:
1) Porsche 992 GT3 2) Nissan 400Z 3) Subaru BRZ 4) BMW M3 AWD 5) Porsche 982 GT4RS 6) Tesla CyberTruck All these are potential cars that I would highly consider getting to add to the fleet.

I don't think since 2009 I have seen a new car and thought, I would actually consider that.
The Genesis G70 manual until I heard the 3.3T wasn't available. 1)Corolla GR wagon; if North America gets it, oh hell ya. 2) CT4-V 3) 400Z have my interest. And if North America gets the Corolla GR wagon, oh hell ya. Last edited by neilvan; 02-10-2021 at 10:08 AM.. |

Your post reminded me that I'm looking forward to the W206 Mercedes Benz C Class this year. I don't have any intention to purchase one, but I am so intrigued by the rumors that the AMG models will be powered by hybridized I4 engines. If this comes to pass, it will represent one the most aggressive moves toward electrification of any long-standing model in the industry. Volvo did it too (for their entire lineup, even), but their performance aspirations are far more modest as are their sales.
And for that matter, the entire Mercedes-AMG powertrain lineup has me curious, including the "53e","63e", and "73e" designations reportedly coming this year to the SL you mention as well as the S Class and perhaps others. |

I'm a big fan of the mild-hybrid + electric supercharger in my CLS when paired to the I6. It really adds a unique character and makes the car feel more NA-like in its power, and the supercharger makes it always quick to respond. Not as excited about the 4-pot part, but nonetheless its going to be a very special and intriguing powertrain in the next generation of AMG 4 and 8-Cylinder engines. |

Renault 5 electric - but I doubt it will be coming to the markets that early...
IS-F Lexus sounds interesting - and so would an updated RS3 - not sure whether this is coming either. Will book a test drive with the Yaris GR soon I think. |

corolla GR - hopefully they can make it look good. thinking of downsizing and selling my f80 and civic, and getting something in between. something fast and fun that i dont care about keeping mint.
992 GT3 - i don't think there will be much improvement here but i could be wrong. sounds like its going to have same speedster engine, same weight, and uglier but slightly more effective aero. C8 Z06 - very curious to see what its capable of. and hopefully it looks better than the base model. maybe they'll delete the rear trunk. ISF / IS500 - if they put the lc500 v8 and trans in there i might dump the f80. it would be like a modern e92. G80 M3 - sure it'll be faster thanks to awd. but by how much ? how will most reviewers react to the weight difference?

Nothing. Flips up, fake exhausts, massive grills, intrusive nannies, intrusive passive safety, screens instead of knobs and we are already tapped out on useable HP.

I was looking forward to the Lotus Type 131, but this looks a bit aggressive in the rear for my taste.
