Cyril Abiteboul leaves Renault and will not lead Alpine F1 team
"Abiteboul had been Renault's team principal since they re-joined F1 grid in 2016 but has now left the company; Renault are rebranding as Alpine for 2021; Laurent Rossi Alpine's new CEO, new team boss yet to be confirmed." https://www.skysports.com/f1/news/12...alpine-f1-team depends on who will take over but this can take Alpine to a better spot this year..

Im not a huge Cyril fan, but he never struck me as a bad leader. I think they have been 6th, 4th, 5th, 5th? Which doesnt show the true progress that Renault has made in the past four years in my opinion. The midfield has gotten much stronger and they had a great car this past year.
I hope Cyril the best. |
