Looks good! Glad they didn't mess with a good previous gen. The interior is very Land Rover like.

Agree, this will he a huge success for Jeep in my opinion. The current Grand Cherokee, despite its age, was the 15th best selling vehicle in the US, more than 200k sales this year. That's more than the Honda Accord! This is just what Jeep needed. A new and fresh vehicle in their lineup, as well as three rows. It somewhat renders the Durango useless, but that vehicle was also pretty old and needed updates.

Looks good but "Exterior: Bold And Brash" - is a bit much.

Idk about the Durango being useless, It's as useless as the Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade trio. While the interior is nice, I'd have a hard time picking this over a Durango, especially one with a V8. Fantastic looking SUV compared to this. At least these two look different enough to convince me they're for two different markets. The GM trio to me just asks how much money I want to spend for the same SUV. Regardless, I hope this SUV is a success. Hyundai/Kia dealers need to be brought back down to reality to selling their 3 rows at MSRP, so bring on the pressure.

I have a feeling that Jeep dealers may mark this up. Jeep is the biggest cash cow that FCA has, and the demand is huge with sales of the Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Wrangler being very strong. |

Inside looks nice. Hate the outside. That chrome strip going all the way around looks awful IMO. Maybe it will look better with black instead or chrome.

The exterior is a nice evolution of the current GC, I like it a lot more than the Wagoneer concept from a few months ago. The interior looks like a big step up from the current gen too.

I really like it!
But a part of me wishes they'd take the basic design and make another base Cherokee like the old XJ chassis. I always thought the ship sunk after the KJ limited was released. They just kind of got worse and worse from then on. |

I wonder if the regular length GC will look any different?

Interior does look quite nice and I like the choice to go with 6 instead of 7 seats. Looks like the amenities for the third row were not left an afterthought with the armrests (seemingly leather-wrapped), cup holders, and hvac vents. There also appears to be a huge amount of space behind the third row. Most 3-row SUVs have like 8" of luggage room with the third row up this looks like it'll have 18+ |
