yup i was very happy about the result. poor hamilton... now bmw may actually have a chance to be 2nd for both the driver and constructor's championship!

but man they need to put more horses (or improve the aero) on the BMW F1 car. BMW's were no match for Ferrari's at high speeds.

Great race, but I think Massa's going to find a way to win it all (not by much tho). The same goes with SF for the constructors' championship

I'm happier for Renault, honestly. They may make a comeback next year if Alonso decides to stick around.

That's right. On the straightaway, the Ferrari's could pretty much overtake every other car (e.g. Massa blowing past Webber). Still, Kubica in his BMW did a great job holding off Raikkonen (in a Ferrari) during the last few laps of the race -- he even built up a slight lead.

It would have been nice if BMW gave Kubica a little more attention...after all ever since BMW has been focusing on tightening up Heidfeld's ride and working on his F1.09 car they have been losing sight of Kubica who shot ahead of Heidfeld (who now looks like an iffy choice for the future) despite running on more than 1/2 year old technology.

Kubica could have had a much easier chance at winning had he gotten that attention instead of Heidfeld, but honestly even I did not expect the role reversal to happen.

Next year's new rules should make things interesting and hopefully put Renault back where they belong.
