How to do a 40 roll?
Hi, Im having trouble for doing a 40 roll and 60 roll. Please correct me if I’m wrong. So I put the gear knob to the left for S rather than keeping it in drive, I hold the downshift which will throw me in the lowest gear for that speed so say 40roll, I’ll be put in second gear. Then u floor it? Will it upshift itself? This is the part I’m lost at. I’m hearing put it back into D. Thanks

Once you manually shift the gears in "S" mode, it's goes to manual... And if you're asking, I'm pretty sure you have a lot more to learn and understand before you need to worry about rolling runs, lol... No offense intended, only suggesting
I'm old school though and never really understood rolls, but with the turbos, it's necessary (boost) and is less traumatic on the drivetrain. But then again, my history is 1/4 mile straights, with beastly large blocks NA, later some SC engines... Anyways... Just leave it in "S" as the programming and shift points are more agressive than normal, and you'll never be able to "best" what the computer can do as far as optimal shift point (rpm) and timing... Idk if it's just me, as the M2C is MY first turbo car (driven plenty, never owned one), but it HATES being brake boosted. If you're too hard on the brakes and have the accelerator to the floor, it bogs for a second before taking off. If I'm 1/2 to 3/4 throttle and babying the brakes, it'll take off as expected.
