That's what I was thinking. It's like they were discussing things with him. That kind of mess and being intoxicated you drag the guy out of the car. I guess coronavirus changed how these shitheads are treated now.
Also as if paramedics don't already have enough to deal with...

Read the YT comments, apparently it's the infamous BC and he's worth billions...dunno how credible that is but if it's him, he's at least a multi-millionaire and that's the reason why he's treated like a bystander instead of a drinking&driving criminal that he is (obviously I personally think it's sickening)....and ppl still think there's democracy and equal rights in this world.

Or, the cops don't know if he's impaired until they talk to him....they also don't know if he's injured and given they probably didn't see the accident you are making your judgement on hindsight. Once you make the arrest then all of the protections kick in, the officers is conducing an investigation, forming his grounds and determining next steps.

yes, blowing up the gram today
it is BC - Ben Chen - full name all over google I also am appalled they didn't have guns drawn and make him eat pavement after they safely commanded him walk backwards clear of the vehicle. Just strolling out and putting his hands in his pockets - what the mother f?! He'll get a get out of jail card - won't be a free one though. Scary and sad. He should lose his license but that likely wouldn't stop someone like this from continuing to drive his tinted cars around. Just has to buy something less conspicuous than merc clk gtr, veyron, this etc

Bottom line, he got a nice pair of bracelets, a ride back to the precinct and a blow test, maybe blood and multiple charges. No one seemed to hurt and an idiot lost a spectacul car and pay through his nose for his idiocy. Great jog BC.

Gun point take down and grounding looks great on TV, but you need to justify it and once you've done that the "utterances" that can be used in court usually stop.

he left a path of destruction blocks long, left the scene of one of the impacts - you casually let him go another block and the next van he hits is full of kids?

Apparently his family owns Nike factories in China. I've heard this douche has crashed a BUNCH of expensive cars. Sounds like he needs to learn how to drive and stop drinking also. Sorry to see the car go that way.

I first heard about this BC dude from the Koenigsegg saga, apparently he wanted the first Agera in the States and had a major spat and falling out w the company. Definitely comes across like a majorly spoiled and arrogant person. |

Maybe he was trying to tell the cops that someone cut him off and caused the crash and he was trying to chase him down to get his plate number? A story like that in a calm manner would cause the police to feel that they're dealing with an individual who is not a physical threat and does not need to be thrown to the ground with a knee in the back of the neck. Also, you can tell he has money. The police don't want to get sued/fired and they probably want to be very careful and collect as much evidence as possible appropriately knowing that a team of lawyers are going to scrutinize every detail of the investigation. Over 30 and acting like a 9 year old. His parents should be put in prison for 30 days and he should be deported.
