The beta release date for the Windows version is scheduled for September 2, 2008 and Mac OS X and Linux versions out soon.

I read that it will be released at 18:00 GMT today. That's 11:00 AM PDT, 14:00 EDT.

Pretty ugly right now. Hopefully people beat them into adding a better looking UI to it. And they better not give any BS about slow it down, because they are already running a full application skin vs just using standard windows theming (which hell, I'd prefer).

It runs off Webkit. Assuming you already do your job completely and design for Safari, then you're fine.
