Multi-Function Gauge Options
Anyone out there have a recommendation on a multi-function gauge package? I'd like to be able to read and display several functions like pyrometer, AFR, boost, and water temp, in a single gauge or display.
There's PLX but the quality seems a bit dubious based on reviews I'm reading: https://www.plxdevices.com/PLX-Multi...sors-s/108.htm There's also these cool panel displays but they rely on OBD2, which my intended vehicle is not: https://edgeproducts.com/insight/ Hoping someone has some experience with PLX and can help me decide, or, has a different non-OBD2 solution they can recommend. EDIT: The target vehicle is 30 years old. It has not CAN bus, no OBD, no computer controls. I need a gauge solution that is not relying on CAN bus messaging. All the gauges you listed would totally do the trick, if, they were going in a modern vehicle. Hence my dilemma. |

Not knowing what car it’s for is a bit of a figment issue, but I used one of these Podi vent gauges in my old BMW e30 M3. You may be able to mount it differently if it’s not an e30.
https://pgperformance.com/podi-vent-...-displays.html It worked perfectly. |

Dakota Digital makes multi gauges but not sure if they would have EGT or boost.

Have you considered Defi gauges? They come with their own control box and sensors, you can buy whatever sensor you need, and they have tons of designs to choose from. Very popular with the Fast & Furious crowd.

![]() ![]() But, that being said, this looks like the exact thing I'm after. Multiple functions displayed on a single gauge, driven by good old fashioned discrete sensors as opposed to a CAN bus. I think you nailed it! ![]() How was your experience with it? Decent quality? |

Kinda the opposite of what I'm after. Defi allows you to string a bazillion gauges together and light up your cockpit like a 787. I'm after multiple functions displayed in a single gauge. |

Defi has a product that allows you to connect multiple sensors into a control unit, then stream the display to a phone. I don't see how you can get anything cleaner than without OBD2.
